Concerts for Craswall is a charity which brings classical music to the far flung mountains at the edge of England. The Parish of Craswall is one of the biggest, but most sparsley populated in Herefordshire, below Offa's Dyke and under The Black Hill - the highest point in southern England.

We present three concerts during the year: chamber concerts in the spring at St Michael's, Michaelchurch Escley, just over the Cefn Hill from Craswall, and at Harvest Festival in St Mary's Craswall. In summer we move to Abbeydore in The Golden Valley for a performance in the much larger Dore Abbey. Here we are able to present music for orchestras and choirs.

Concerts For Craswall attract musicians who come from far and wide. In the past they have all given their services in exchange for hospitality provided by the community, and to enjoy a weekend of fun and music in such beautiful surroundings. We are now able to pay fees for professional performers and expenses for students, thanks to our Friends’ fees and donations.

These concerts present a wide variety of programmes, maintaining a very high standard, and attracting audiences who enjoy the historic atmosphere and warm welcome which they find here.
