A classical guitarist from Herefordshire, Hope Cramsie recently graduated from the Royal College of Music with First Class Honours. In addition, Hope spent a semester studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Jesper Sivebæk as part of the Erasmus Exchange Programme.
As a soloist, Hope is a versatile performer whose programmes showcase a diverse repertoire ranging from renditions of Renaissance music to the premiering of brand-new works. In 2021, she was awarded First Prize at Leicester Music Festival’s Advanced Recital Guitar Competition. She has featured regularly in the International Guitar Foundation’s Young Artist Platform concert series. This included a performance at Kings Place London during the London Guitar Festival last year.

In addition to her solo playing, Hope is a member of the NYGE Fellowship Ensemble too, a guitar ensemble dedicated to developing young talent.
