Your generosity after our concert last Saturday exceeded all expectations.  Together we raised a signifianct sum for Dore Abbey’s “Raising the Roof” campaign.

Chris Morgan, a Friend of Dore Abbey, confirmed “the collection amounted to £915. For us, an amazing achievement.”

The event marked the 25th anniversary of Concerts for Craswall. The near capacity audience were treated to glorious performances by solo cellist Amy Norrington, leading choir The Elysian Singers, and the musicians of The Craswall Consort. All directed by the hugely talented and much sought after conductor Sam Laughton.

Commenting on the evening, Sam said “it was indeed one of the best evenings musically, and I dearly hope there might be a ‘next time’ …”
