Music from the Mediaeval to the late Renaissance.

Represented by Emily Baines and Arngeir Hauksson, Amyas is a period instrument group specialising in exuberant performances of historical works.

Duo Maddalena are otherwise known as mezzo soprano Lucy Green and soprano Janet Oates. They take a lively approach to the performance of early music, women composers’ works, and contemporary music in particular.

Their chosen programme features music by Landini, Ciconia, Dowland, and Strozzi.  Also songs from the Cantigas de Santa Maria collection.

Making their first appearance with Concerts for Craswall, this exciting young string quartet will perform an thrilling programme with music spanning the bright, optimistic character often associated with Haydn’s string quartets, to a late Beethoven quartet, a worthy inclusion in the year of the great composer’s 250th birthday.
