What an unforgettable afternoon! Yesterday, we hosted a completely sold-out house for a spellbinding performance by the award-winning Rhossili Duo.
From the moment flutist Gabriella Alberti and guitarist Cai Charles took to the stage, the atmospheric St Mary’s Church was charged with an electric, intimate energy. Performing their highly anticipated programme, The Last Tango, this exceptionally talented Welsh-Australian pairing proved exactly why they were awarded the prestigious International Guitar Foundation’s Young Artists Platform.
The acoustic warmth of the venue paired beautifully with the delicate balance of their instruments. Seeing the space packed to capacity was a powerful reminder of the magic of live community music. The breathless silence during the performance’s quietest moments quickly turned into a thunderous ovation at the finale.
